CONNECTING CULTURES CREATING COMMUNITY
Founded in 2018, the New Legacy Cultural Center (NLCC) continues to connect cultures and strengthen communities through language, arts, and cultural exchange. In 2025, NLCC expanded its reach through innovative programs, meaningful partnerships, and vibrant cultural events that brought people together across generations.
After-School Mandarin Programs
Extended to ALL six Lexington public elementary schools, providing immersive language learning for local students.


Weekend Programs at Lexington High School
Resumed Saturday Mandarin, cultural, and wellness classes for youth and families starting April 2025.
Bilingual Summer Camps
Continued to create meaningful opportunities for language immersion, leadership, and service through “Journey to the West” summer camps at Lexplorations.

Events
NLCC also hosts a variety of annual community events throughout the year, signature events including the Annual Lexington Lantern Festival and Mandarin Glow Party.

The Greater Boston Youth Go Tournament, co-hosted by the NLCC Go Club and the Massachusetts Go Association, is an exciting annual AGA-rated event for young Go enthusiasts in the Greater Boston area
